Two actions in the Mower County District Court arising out of the death of Rodney Alan Ross in an accident allegedly caused
by his intoxication which resulted from his being given intoxicating liquor illegally by defendants, Delmar Ross and Joel
Owen Johnson. One action was brought by Harvey H. Ross and Violet E. Ross, decedent's parents, and the other on behalf of
decedent's son, Rodney Alan Stigney, a minor, by Gloria Stigney Storlie, his mother and natural guardian. The case was tried
before Daniel F. Foley, Judge, and a jury, and on the basis of a special verdict, the court ordered judgment for plaintiffs
for $1,026.84 and $4,680 respectively. Defendant Ross appealed from the judgment entered in each action. AUTHOR: OTIS
